Description

Spectacular Italian waterfall console table in a polished fruit-wood with a floating bowed front plateau of black glass inset in a brass gallery, terminating on four fluted legs with brass sabots
Note exceptional joinery, craftsmanship of design and finishing of wood- even the wood is veneered on the underside of the floating glass plateau.  The second console is longer in dimension.
Designer unknown, glass replaced more recently
Dating: 1950 or earlier, the floating plateau has been restored and the glass is recent
Origin: probably Italy
Condition:  Excellent, restored condition, polished
