Description

A wonderful blown Murano glass mirror in a lovely transparent aubergine color and in the shape of a modern tapered shield joined by unlacquered brass fittings with beveled looking glass. This new style is inspired by both the 1940’s blown torchon mirrors and the Italian Design mirrors from the 1950’s but simplified with more modern details and a unique shape.

Origin: Murano, Italy

Condition: Very Good, Note as this is mouth blown and not placed in a mold each mirror is slightly irregular and unique

Dating: Contemporary, designed by L’Antiquaire and made by wonderful artisans on the island

Dimensions 28″ wide, 42″ high, 2” deep
