Suzanne Guiguichon (1901 – 1985) was a French furniture designer and decorator. She was born and worked in Paris.

Biography

Since 1929 she worked as a designer with Maurice Dufrene at the Galeries Lafayette design studio La Maitrise in Paris. Most of the furniture, clocks, lighting, fabrics, rugs, and accessories Guiguichon designed anonymously.

In 1930, she set up her studio at 54 rue de Clichy in Paris. Her furniture has been reproduced by various manufacturers in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, in particular Speich frères. Her clients included both private and contract clients. She was commissioned to design an office for the Mayor of the 6th arrondissement, Paris, and, in 1947, the bedrooms of French President Vincent Auriol in Chateau Rambouillet and Palais de l’Elysee, Paris.

She taught at the École de l’Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
