An elegant chest/table with a very thin lacquered plateau edge above two drawers with lacquered inlaid shield-shaped escutcheons and flanked by a unique vertical lacquered leaf vine design terminating on straight tapered legs. Drawers glide with ease and show their original polished steel locks. Working keys are not original.

Origin: Germany (possibly Munich)

Dating: 1820-1830

Condition: Very good with signs of ware and restorations to legs
