A mid-20th-century Italian low center table in solid, dark-stained walnut. The circular top features an inset parquetry plateau in a figured birch veneer trellis pattern, protected by a removable glass top within a deeply molded frame. The table is raised on four sculpted, ruffled splayed legs joined by a matching lower shelf.

An elegant and well-proportioned example of Art Deco Italian design, showcasing exceptional veneer work and geometric restraint.

Origin: Italy, circa 1930-1940s. Attributed to Gaetano or Osvaldo Borsani for Arredamenti Borsani Varedo.

Condition: Expertly restored; refinished in a traditional French polish.
