Born in San Vito al Tagliamento (Udine) in 1936, his father was the painter Luigi Zuccheri, his mother Jolanda was the sister of the poet and philosopher Giacomo Noventa. In 1945 the family moved to Venice where he made the acquaintance of important figure of culture and art: Giorgio De Chirico, Carlo Scarpa, Giorgio Bassani, Elio Zorzi, Mario Soldati and others. In 1960 he studied architecture , his masters were Franco Albini, Ignazio Gardella, Ludovico Belgioioso, Carlo Scarpa, Bruno Zevi, Samonà… He took an interest in glass, and at very young age he worked at Venini were he invented and reinvented working techniques, shapes and colors; he later worked with Gio Ponti, Lucio Fontana, Gaetano Pesce among others, and the passion of glass was with him until he died in 2008.
