Description
A most lovely early Biedermeier deep two-drawer chest on tall splayed legs made in a striking blonde cherry wood matchbook veneer on pine with ebonized black detailing. Each drawer opening with oval shaped brass pulls and a working key. Note the lovely pattern of the the veneer to its front façade offering two patterns fusing into one another. Also to note the taller height of this chest was commissioned exclusively for castles.
