Large 19th Century German Biedermeier Two Drawer Chest

This sleek Biedermeier chest of drawers features clean lines and a modern edge plateau. Beautifully finished in a book-matched dark walnut veneer that cascades from its plateau down its front façade. The two deep drawers are set atop elegant, high-tapered and squared legs. Maintaining a minimalist aesthetic, the piece is elegantly adorned with lighter diamond-shaped inlaid escutcheons. Shown with its original steel locks.

Condition: Very good restored and refurbished condition with signs of age. Recently French polished, the drawers glide with ease and close seamlessly. Legs refurbished.
