Description
A stunning sleek crystal clear and iridescent blown chandelier with an exquisite center shaft composed of ten spherical mouth blown balls above a tapered stem upholding six outreaching reeded blown arms above six deep bobeches adorned with frilly edges and each separated by curling leaves. The large center bowl, bobeches, spherical balls and canopy are made in the baloton technique (rhombus patterned decor in relief obtained by blowing the glass into a specific mould, then shaped in freehand by the glass master), while the fluted stem, arms and leaf centers are reeded mimicking a thoughtful and clean composition. Also to note the balonton bobeches are deep so the bulbs are tucked closer to the interior of the glass.
Recently re-electrified to code with new UL approved satin nickel sockets with porcelain interiors for E12 bulbs.
